Pop culture pundits are saying that ghosts are the new vampires. But aren't ghosts really the new zombies, since last year at this time those same pundits said zombies were the new vampires? Whatever the case in pop culture at large, TV is filled with all kinds of freaky creatures these days, so I thought I'd take a look at what shows have the most beings to maybe decide what the reigning being is in scripted TV shows. (Sorry, "Ghost Hunters" and other reality shows.) The first slide shows the icon key that RedEye's Trent Koland designed. Those icons indicated which monsters are on which shows, as you will see in the other slides. Did I forget something? Leave me a comment.
