Dozens of businesses attended the tailgate held in downtown South Bend, which was put on by the Faegre Baker Daniels law firm.
The tailgate was held outside of the Key Bank building, which is where their law firm is located. Dozens of downtown businesses attended the tailgate lunch, which included burgers, hot dogs and several different desserts -- all to cheer on the Irish!
“As a group effort, we got to talking last week – What can we do to celebrate the big day? Especially since we are all working today!” said organizer Angie Hall. “We came up with the idea of the tailgate -- a work time tailgate!"
Organizers say events like this help bring together businesses downtown.
