To date, only two videos have reached two billion views on YouTube: Psy‘s “Gangnam Style” and “See You Again” by Charlie Puth and Wiz Khalifa. But according to Forbes, there are three videos that are very close to joining those two in video history.
The next video to cross the threshold may be Justin Bieber‘s clip for his #1 smash “Sorry.” According to Forbes, it’s currently at 1.942 billion views and continues to rack up around 20 million views per week. At that rate, it could reach two billion by the end of 2016.
Next up is “Uptown Funk,” from Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, which is currently at 1.934 billion views. Last week, the song racked up 21 million views, and that’s two years after it was released.
Finally, Taylor Swift‘s video for “Blank Space” is up to 1.827 billion views. The song was a huge hit, reaching #1, but the video is one of Taylor’s most memorable, and funniest. Last week alone, it grabbed 10 million views.
Other songs that might reach the two-billion mark next year include Adele‘s “Hello” and Taylor’s “Shake It Off.”
