Legal Drama: Tony Buzbee Withdraws from “Diddy” Lawsuits Amid Licensing Issue

In a surprising twist, attorney Tony Buzbee has pulled out of more than a dozen federal lawsuits against music mogul “Diddy.” The reason? Buzbee isn’t licensed to practice in the Southern District of New York.

This issue came to light after Jay-Z filed a grievance, accusing Buzbee of practicing law without the necessary credentials. While Buzbee is stepping away from the Combs cases, other attorneys at Curis Law will continue representing the clients.

But this isn’t Buzbee’s only legal headache. He’s already facing backlash for his handling of the Combs abuse cases, especially after naming Jay-Z as a defendant in a 2000 rape case that was later dropped. Jay-Z is now suing Buzbee for defamation, claiming that the attorney’s pursuit of false allegations was driven by greed.

Boxing Legend George Foreman Passes Away at 76

The world has lost a true icon. Boxing legend George Foreman has passed away at the age of 76. His family confirmed the sad news on March 21, revealing that Foreman died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.

Big George was a two-time heavyweight champion, but his legacy stretched far beyond the boxing ring. He was also a preacher, a dedicated family man, and a household name. Foreman rose to fame in 1968, winning gold at the Mexico City Olympics. He captured the heavyweight title in 1973 by defeating Joe Frazier, but his legendary rivalry with Muhammad Ali in the “Rumble in the Jungle” in 1974 remains one of boxing’s most iconic moments.

After retiring in 1977, Foreman made a stunning comeback in 1994 at age 45, becoming the oldest heavyweight champion in history by defeating Michael Moorer. Off the ring, Foreman struck gold again with the George Foreman Grill, earning over $138 million. Reports say he passed away from natural causes in Houston.

Conan O’Brien Wins Mark Twain Prize for Humor

Conan O’Brien is officially a comedy legend. This weekend, the late-night host was honored with the prestigious Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in Washington, D.C.

At the ceremony, Conan kept things classic by joking, “I am honored to be the first winner of the Mark Twain Prize recognized not for humor, but for my work as a riverboat pilot.” The Kennedy Center hailed him as a “master of invention and reinvention,” always pushing the envelope in comedy.

Joining a star-studded list of past winners, including Steve Martin, Tina Fey, and Eddie Murphy, O’Brien now holds a coveted spot in the comedy Hall of Fame. The ceremony, which took place on March 23, will be available for streaming on Netflix soon.

Disney’s Snow White Remake Struggles at the Box Office

Disney’s live-action Snow White remake is off to a shaky start. Despite debuting at number one, the film earned only $43 million domestically, well below expectations. Rachel Zegler stars as Snow White, with Gal Gadot playing the Evil Queen.

Globally, the movie earned $87.3 million, falling short of the projected $100 million. With a hefty production cost of $250 million, Disney might need a bit of extra magic to turn things around. The film still managed to beat Warner Bros.’ The Alto Knights, which only brought in $3.2 million.
