For more than 50 years, LoveWay has been transforming lives in Middlebury, Indiana through equine-assisted services for children and individuals with diagnosed disabilities.
In this conversation, Jessica Estep, Director of Communications for LoveWay, shares how their programs create powerful partnerships between horses, participants, volunteers, and staff. Through these experiences, individuals build confidence, strengthen social and emotional skills, and develop meaningful connections that can have a lasting impact.
Jessica also shares a touching story about a young rider who experienced a sense of freedom while on horseback—an inspiring reminder of how LoveWay’s programs help individuals focus on what they can do rather than the limitations they may face.
LoveWay’s mission is made possible by the support of dedicated volunteers, donors, and community partners. From assisting during riding sessions to helping care for horses or supporting fundraising efforts, there are many ways to get involved.
