In San Antonio, Texas, 85 cancer patients received makeovers and new wigs through a partnership between Texas Oncology and nonprofit Angels Without Borders. The initiative aimed to boost the women’s confidence and joy during their treatments. Angels Without Borders, founded by cancer survivor Tere Castello, provides donated wigs and makeup kits to around 500 cancer patients annually, helping them feel like themselves again.
