It’s a fantastic showcase for her warmth and versatility. She transforms the Stones’ rickety country shuffle “You Got the Silver” into a swelling expression of love, while on the classic ballad “Sweet Forgiveness,” she reveals all new shades of tenderness in the lyrics.
