terry was born in west bygod virginia amidst a blizzard in 1977. he was involved with performing in school plays and the like since the first grade. lots of summer stock theatre and stints in his high school show choir followed. he received a short scale gibson sg bass for his 16th birthday and soon after picked up a beat up yamaha acoustic guitar. the summer in between his junior and senior year was spent mostly in his parents garage with that acoustic, where he taught himself to play in various invented open tunings.
