Deaf-in-Tech is a program in Nigeria that aims to empower deaf individuals to break into the tech industry by providing specialized training programs, mentorship initiatives, and strategic partnerships. Unlike traditional coding boot camps, Deaf-in-Tech delivers lessons through sign language, making tech education accessible to the deaf community. The program has trained over 1,000 individuals, supported deaf tech founders, and helped organizations develop disability-inclusive policies. By providing resources, mentorship, and career coaching, Deaf-in-Tech has enabled graduates like Albert Amos Audu to secure technical roles and build successful careers in the tech industry.
