
It was a weekend like no other… in terms of losing big celebrities.
Richard Simmons, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, and Shannon Doherty all died this weekend. Simmons died on Saturday the day after his birthday, just 24 hours after thanking fans on social media for their birthday wishes. He was 76. According to reports, Simmons fell in his home’s bathroom and his housekeeper called police… who pronounced him dead at the scene of natural causes. his family said he was excited about upcoming ventures he was working on.
Richard, who stepped away from the public eye a decade ago but was known for his iconic high-energy fitness tapes… He also dove into acting… and appeared as himself in 72 episodes of General Hospital.
Kate Middleton made a very rare public outing over the weekend..
The 42-year-old Princess of Wales and longtime tennis enthusiast stepped out amid her cancer treatment to attend one of her favorite events, Wimbledon, on Sunday. She arrived for the men’s singles final alongside her daughter Princess Charlotte, 9, and sister, Pippa. This is only the second time this year that she has made a public appearance in her cancer recovery. Kate will also present the trophy to the winner after the match.
Kate received a standing ovation and cheers from the crowd as she arrived.
