Did Those Blue Origin Celebrity Flights Really Happen? Some Think Not…
After Katy Perry, Gayle King, and a handful of high-profile passengers launched into space with Blue Origin earlier this month, conspiracy theories immediately took off. Some skeptics online claimed the flight was staged—pointing to footage showing the capsule hatch being opened from the inside before Jeff Bezos officially welcomed the crew back.
But according to experts, that’s not unusual at all—the hatch is designed to open from either side. Plus, there’s plenty of live-streamed video evidence proving the flight was very real.
This isn’t the first time Blue Origin has sparked skepticism. After William Shatner’s historic trip in 2021, a photoshopped image of him wearing Jeff Bezos’ space suit made the rounds, fueling more online rumors. Yes, the photo was fake—but the spaceflight definitely wasn’t.

Diego Luna Nearly Arrested Over a Star Wars Prop
Diego Luna, star of Andor, had an unexpected run-in with airport security—over a galaxy far, far away.
On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Luna shared how he accidentally brought home a blaster prop from the Star Wars set, wrapping it in his luggage without thinking twice. But when security unwrapped it at the airport… panic ensued.
“The guys unwrapped it and they were like, ‘Whoa, what is that!?’” Luna recalled. When he reached for it to explain, they shouted, “No, no, no! Don’t touch it!”
After a tense moment, Luna had to prove his identity by showing photos of himself in costume, holding the blaster, and signing documentation before being allowed to proceed. Thankfully, no charges—just a great story.
