The fruit season is off to a great start at Lehman’s Orchard in Berrien County, Michigan, with buds on many fruit trees and some trees already showing flowers. Owner Steve Lecklider is optimistic about the crops, noting that strawberries, sweet and tart cherries, and peaches are looking good. As long as the weather remains favorable, the summer fruits should be ready soon.
