Indy 500 festivities kick off with traditional milk bottle as race day anticipation builds

The Indianapolis 500 festivities have begun with the 500 Festival kicking off the month of May. Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Boles and driver Jacob Abel presented the traditional milk bottle to start the event. Singer Jim Cornelison will perform “Back Home Again in Indiana” for the 9th consecutive year at the race. He describes the event as a unique and exhilarating experience, unlike any other sporting event. The Indy 500 will be broadcast on FOX Michiana on May 25th.
