The Golden Globes were on fire last night, with comedian Nikki Glaser making history as the first woman to ever solo-host! Her opening monologue was sharp, hilarious, and had the crowd in stitches.
“The Brutalist” emerged as the big winner in the film categories, nabbing Best Drama and Best Director for Brady Corbet. Not to be outdone, Adrien Brody took home Best Actor for his role in the film. Meanwhile, “Emilia Pérez” snagged Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, and Zoe Saldana stole the show with her win for Best Female Performance for her role as the iconic Emilia.
Speaking of incredible performances, Ariana Grande was nominated for Best Female Actor for playing Glinda in Wicked. She looked fabulous, rocking a vintage Givenchy gown from 1966 in a pale yellow, a nod to Glinda’s signature color. Classic!
Viola Davis was a standout too, receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Award for her legendary career. Not far behind was Ted Danson, who received the Carol Burnett Award for his years of unforgettable contributions to Hollywood.
Demi Moore Gets Her First Major Award at 62! 🏆✨
After 45 years in Hollywood, Demi Moore finally claimed her first major acting award! The Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Musical or Comedy was hers for the taking with her role in The Substance. The 62-year-old actress gave an emotional speech, reflecting on the years she’d spent struggling with the label of “popcorn actress”—an insult she internalized for decades.
In The Substance, Moore plays Elisabeth Sparkle, a once-popular TV fitness star fired for being “too old.” Up against powerhouse nominees like Zendaya, Amy Adams, and Cynthia Erivo, Moore’s win was a triumphant reminder of resilience in an industry that can be unforgiving.

Foxx praised the nurse, who told him, “I roll my sleeves up for everybody that comes in here, but right now, you’re a patient, and I’ve got to get you right.”
Foxx’s recovery is truly a miracle!
